Melissa has been providing end-to-end consultancy to medical device companies, charities and healthcare providers for the past 5 years. She has built up a track-record in writing award-winning grant bids, building and communicating high-quality health economics models, designing, delivering, evaluating and reporting on clinical trials (including HTA), and devising and communicating innovative market access strategies.
Melissa entered the field of medical device market access from her Statistics DPhil at University of Oxford, where she was fitting statistical models to functional MRI signals to better understand their physiological origins.
Her Innovation Scholarship at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and her Postdoctoral Fellowship in Data Science at The Advanced Skills Initiative helped her transition from academia to industry.
Melissa has extensive experience managing complex collaborative projects, including EU projects spanning multiple countries, and R&D projects requiring the collaboration of patients, clinicians, academics and industry.
