We helped to develop an interactive business case which will support local NHS systems to improve the identification of atrial fibrillation and optimise management to prevent atrial fibrillation related stroke. By understanding the local burden of atrial fibrillation and the impact of detection and prevention on both patients and finances local health care systems can prioritise care in the right place and improve patient outcomes.

We've just published a paper in the Journal of Medical Economics showing that adding the Parkinson’s KinetiGraph (the PKG, a wrist-worn movement recording device that collates continuous, objective, data during daily activities in people with Parkinson’s disease (PD) providing a report for clinicians) to standard monitoring of PD is a cost-effective option.
