JBM Research offers
innovative bespoke research tailored to your product’s needs.
|
Whether
working with the existing evidence-base, through meta-analysis or
disease modelling, or conducting original research in epidemiology,
clinical effectiveness or healthcare delivery, JBM Research creates
a platform for growth into new or established markets. We have
extensive experience in this field and can advise as to which
approach is best supported by available data or readily accessible
by conducting specific elements of original research.

Meta-analysis |
In cases where evidence is available from multiple studies, making a
therapeutic choice can be a complex decision. In such situations meta-analysis can clarify the product selection process for
the clinician. By using Cochrane
Collaboration-approved methodology, we are able to develop
meta-analytical support materials with an exceptional degree of
impact and credibility. In addition to providing compelling support
for promotional messaging, meta-analysis has the
potential to support regulatory changes without a requirement to
conduct new randomised control trials.

Disease
modelling |
Disease modelling supports product use in a disease area
which suffers from a limited perception of need amongst physicians
and purchasers. Applying the principles of product
marketing to the disease itself, JBM Research has demonstrated success
in supporting a national re-prioritisation of resources to therapy
areas that previously received little clinical attention or funding.
By using disease modelling we are able to generate precise quantification of
patient populations and inform your strategic marketing planning
throughout the product life-cycle.
We also produce financial impact models intended for use by
representatives and NHS Liaison Divisions. Through focusing on
intuitive analyses our financial impact models simplify health
economic discussions and so enable your sales force to convey clear
economic messages without the need for additional specialist
training.

Original
research |
Original
research can complete gaps in the product evidence-base or disease
literature. We offer a complete project management capability from
identification of investigators to manuscript preparation and
publication in peer-reviewed journals.
-
Clinical effectiveness analyses
can illustrate how your product performs in real-life
clinical practice and provide support for comparative
efficacy or tolerability messaging from a post-marketing
setting.
-
Healthcare delivery programmes can
establish examples of effective service infrastructure
development to ensure that mechanisms are in place to
implement your product’s evidence-base and drive sales.
-
Our epidemiological research has
successfully provided a platform for product growth in
disease areas lacking adequate published data, in order
to persuade physicians and service commissioners to
address an unmet medical need.
